Learning for Life Programme : Outdoor Adventure Education (OAE). Our OAE programme provides students with rich hands-on experiences to help them discover their talents, strengths and weaknesses and work towards achieving success. It also builds resilience, perseverance, creativity and courage as students learn to overcome personal challenges. Through OAE, we also inculcate in our students a sense of responsibility for themselves, others as well as nature and the environment. OAE enhances our students' schooling experiences by developing them into rugged, responsible, innovative and confident youths with a 'can-do' spirit to take them into the volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous world. Applied Learning Programme : Science. Our Science programme cultivates in our students a curious and enquiring mind and a passion for lifelong learning. It serves to connect academic knowledge and skills with the real world we are living in. We develop in our students a spirit of scientific inquiry, encouraging them to explore and discover new possibilities. Through hands-on experiences, our students appreciate the importance and pervasiveness of Science in everyday life in the real world. They also learn about the role of man in the eco-system and how our decisions and actions can impact the world. It is through this that they learn to be responsible and make wise and informed decisions that can bring about positive change that benefits all. Computational Thinking Skills Programme - Coding for Fun. We believe that computational thinking helps to develop logical and creative thinking, and is a good problem-solving tool which can enable our students to become self-directed learners who can be innovators of the future. We embarked on this programme in 2015 and by the end of their 6 years in our school, every child would have been equipped with computational thinking skills.
