  • Distinctive Programmes

    The Learning for Life Programme aims to Develop Character through Aesthetics in every Chung Cheng students. It focuses on the affective aspect of a students holistic development through tiered activities. Students learn the value of Empathy through Design Thinking and an appreciation of arts. Real life experiences in and out of school provide them with opportunities for self-discovery, character-building, development of social-emotional skills and learning of values. The Applied Learning Programme Food Science and Technology offers students an opportunity to apply their scientific knowledge, skills and block-based coding through app development and micro:bit. Students are developed in Scientific and Digital Literacy, Critical and Inventive Thinking and Communication, Collaboration and Information Skills. For students who enjoy hands-on experimentation and independent scientific thinking, the Young Scientist Programme offers them an opportunity to carry out investigative scientific or engineering projects under the guidance of mentors from school and external tertiary institutions. The Positive Leadership Programme develops students to lead and make a difference (e.g. Student Council, Monitor Council, Peer Support Leaders, CCA leaders, NE and School Ambassadors). Inculcating a global mindset and awareness in students is achieved through bicultural learning, immersion exchange, talent and leadership development and service-learning offered by the CC Global Classroom Programme.
