  • School Vision
Every Marist, a Gentleman of Faith, Vision and Service.
  • School Mission
The holistic development of each Marist that blends faith, culture and life with respect to his human dignity.
  • School Philosophy, Culture and Ethos

Maris Stella High School is an autonomous all-boys Catholic school committed to educating Marists holistically and anchored in the Marist values. As one of the first SAP schools in Singapore, our SAP programme, the Br. Chanel Programme, named after our Founding Principal, is designed to realise his vision of nurturing bicultural Marists as we seek to educate them to exhibit bicultural sensitivity, steep in traditional Chinese values with a global outlook, ready to serve society. As an all-boys school, we adopt a boy-centred approach focusing on sports, outdoor education, the Sciences and ICT in our school-wide programmes, whilst supporting individual interests of Marists, to bring out the best in them. We further inculcate our school motto of Diligence, Determination, Loyalty & Dedication, and Courage, and Marist Values in Marists, so that they are equipped with the attitudes and competencies to become contributing members of society. Caring teachers and strong programmes geared towards building school spirit anchor the learning experiences of Marists.

  • Distinctive Programmes

The Marcellin Way, anchored on Marist values and the Marist style of education, are experiences that seek to build the character of Marists. There are two main programmes, namely character and citizenship education and faith formation. Through these two programmes, the authentic learning experiences aim to inculcate values and build competencies that will mould Marists to be good individuals, with the tenacity and adaptability to navigate the unknown future, and who are of service within school and the wider community. As an all-boys school, we offer a gentleman-focused education, to bring out the best in every Marist. The school also leverages key learning programmes such as the Sports and Outdoor Education, Mathematics, Sciences and ICT, to cater to the interests of the boys and stretch their potential.
